The last six months of lockdown have brought a lot of things in perspective for people, and one such thing is the value of nature experiences. With the change in rules, traveling has now become possible again, and although it is still risky if the sanitization and social distancing measures are not followed strictly, you need to choose the right place that values your safety as much as you value it for yourself.
Forsyth Lodge in Satpura is one such place that has reopened its 44acres for travellers and adventure seekers wishing to get away from the crowds. Nestled in the forests of Satpura, this is one of the best Jungle Safari Lodges to experience nature at its pristine best. You could experience a wildlife safari or be spoilt with their food and lodge activities. Of course, considering the current pandemic situation, Forsyth Lodge has put precautions in-place to ensure their guests can enjoy their holiday worry-free.
The guest capacity at the lodge has been reduced to 80% and the remaining cottages have been allotted for emergency quarantine, if required. Each cottage will be rested for at least 24 hours before being allotted to the next guest. Guest health checks can be arranged at the nearby hospital which is only 15 kms away. All guests are given a list of Do’s and Don’ts when they make their reservations and in case a guest needs to cancel due to health reasons, they will not be charged any cancellation fee and could also postpone the date based on availability.
Check-in at the lodge has been made contact less and guests will be guided directly to their cottages to reduce contact on arrival. Luggage will be sanitised and placed outside the cottage and placed inside by the staff only if requested. The staff will be wearing a full PPE kit in case they have to enter any cottage on request.
Currently, the SOP would be to not enter the cottage at all once the guests occupy the cottages.
While people are still scared of venturing out of their homes, Jungle Lodges and Resorts such as Forsyth Lodge offer a good opportunity not just to be amidst nature, but also to get away from the city to rejuvenate and unwind.
