At Forsyth, you’ll always find a friendly face. Our staff is made up of conscientious locals who earn their livelihood by working at our lodge. Trained to oversee all indoor and outdoor activities, their service is thoughtful and diligent. All details are taken care of - from slipping hot water bags into your beds during winter to making sure your breakfast is packed.
They’re always available to ensure a warm and comfortable stay for our guests. The staff takes a much needed respite in the monsoon when the park closes. However, they return well before the season to maintain the mud cottages and lipai, and to welcome our guests in their own charming way. That’s what makes the Forsyth experience a delightful one. It is, quite simply, home.
The Lodge and its surroundings are superb. The food is quite simply gorgeous. However it is the naturalists and staff who really make this place outstanding. The passion, the knowledge, the enthusiasm and the complete love for what they do really make Forsyth unique. We have travelled all over the world to view wildlife and have spent time with many naturalists, but we can safely say that those at Forsyth are among the very best we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thanks for everything!!

Our hearts have been touched. Our words are grossly inadequate. We leave richer. Thank you one and all. All the very best for the future. Will be failing if we did not make a special mention about Deepak. Warm and gracious are words which immediately occur to describe him. He made our trip special.
A superlative experience. Everything was thoughtfully organized, the food was delicious (can we have the cauliflower recipe please?) and the rooms comfortable and welcoming. Bejoy was just fantastic, enthusiastic about all the aspects of the forest, indulgent with our children and caring with all of us. Will definitely be back.

This long awaited and planned trip was well worth the wait. Forsyth Lodge was a home away from home. Homely, cozy, attentive staff, delicious meals and an excellent naturalist. Thank you! We will be back!!

We have been overwhelmed with the warmth and charm of Forsyth Lodge and the depth of expertise and knowledge of the natural world around the area. Every day we benefitted from the expertise of our guide who has left us with numerous wonderful memories. The tiger may not have cooperated but all the other animals did and Ashwin managed to get us to the right spot at the right time! Superb! The courtesy, skill and charm of the staff was exceptional, and it is hard to leave such a very special place.
